In order to save the disabled students from the hardships and heavy burden of education costs added to their already piling medical costs, their are numerous scholarships that are made available to such students every year.Some of these are:
(1)Ethel Louise Armstrong Foundation: This scholarship is especially designed for the physically challenged female undergraduate students, the students who constitute a minority group apart from being physically disabled.
(2)National Association of the Deaf: One of the oldest and largest organizations, this association supports nearly 28 million deaf students with their higher education.
(3)Learning Disabilities Association: This scholarship has been introduced to cater to students demonstrating learning disabilities like, dyslexia and ADHD, etc.
