Most of us think that first impression is the last impression when we go to meet someone for the first time. Is it true? Yes, atleast in the case of an interview. One of the main purposes of an interview is to present yourself to a potential employer in a manner that reflects a highly polished and professional image so that you surely get the job.
For men:
The following dressing tips on the day of interview will help you a lot,
A conservative business suit is the mos appropriate to wear on the day of interview. Take care that it is well-tailored or fitted suit, coat and trousers will go a long way in helping you to present yourself as a professional. The fit should neither be too short nor too long. Do not try out colors like brown or green as they appear more as the football team player clothes. A plain white or off-white shirt is the best option always. Dressing in your best attire also counts shined or polished shoes which gives a complete look to your personality. Wearing clean, ironed and new clothes with a dirty pair of shoes can put you in trouble. The shoes must be laced not casual. The color of the socks should compliment your outfit.

Hello,

Whatever you decided to wear on your interview day it should be neat clean and tidy and should be according to situation, if you are not comfortable in formal attire wear semi formal attire or wear casual but make sure that it look decent and proper.

In my opinion, for your hair, the shorter the better. I'm not saying buzz, but that wouldn't be bad either. To look good at all times, it doesn't really matter what you wear it's how you wear it. Clean, crisp and tucked in. Jeans and a t-shirt can look well dressed as long as it's not sloppy and stained.
