The success story of a company depends upon the qualities of and abilities of its workforce. The more active the employees, more successful will be the company. To test the candidates more keenly, behavioral-based interviews are preferred by the interviewer's. This type of interview allows the recruiter to ask questions other than typical ones which tests the presence of mind of the candidate. The recruiter will probe for specific details and asks to recall successes and failures of the past. These interviews are tricky and difficult to crack but not impossible.

Behavioral interviews assess core competencies of a candidate.

Browse through the information available on the company to which you are going for the interview. A candidate is expected to know some basic things about the company.

If you know the position for which the interview is going to be taken, find out the job profile. The questions will surely be related to the job profile.

Keep some short stories ready to tell the core competencies. The recruiter will be surely interested to hear because the employers today want people of some caliber to be employed in the company.

this is the way I look at it, and BTW i agree with you 100%.
I script it, cooly. I pretend that I am thinking and then spit my script. tell them what they want to hear. think about these questions before hand and think it over REAL good. I usually take a real situation that has happened in my life and exaggrate and embellish. um, yea just make crap up, get the job and if you dont like it try another.
NP!
