The Management Interviews are basically organized to test your managerial skills and how well you can coordinate the actions of the people working as subordinates to you. The management interviews may vary according to the need like, IT Management, Memory Management, Business Management, and so on. However, there are a few common questions to each of these management interview sessions.

Some Management Interview Questions:

Q: Why are you considering leaving your present job ?                                                                                            
A: Regardless of the reason, don’t bad mouth you current employer. A good answer would be, “There is no room for growth at my current employer” or “Due to Company restructuring, my entire department is relocating to Florida”.

Q: What are you future goals?
A: “My long time goals are to find a Company where I can grow with respect to my skills and be a positive contributor”.
 
Q: What do you know about our Company?
A: This is a question especially posed to check your knowledge about the working of the Company. Candidates that have researched the Company are preferred.

Q: What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
A: Answer each of these questions positively and honestly. Do not overdo your strengths neither try to cover for all your weaknesses. Try to strike a balance between your answers.

Some other Management Related Questions include:
  • What qualities make a good analyst? How would you analyze the industry?
  • Where do you think the market is going? Why?
  • What are the five questions you would ask the company’s management?
  • How do you handle stress and pressure?
  • What do you think is most important: A company’s management, product, strategy, etc?
  • What is more important: Quality or Quantity?
  • We have met several candidates. Why do you think you suit the job?
