Important Take Cares of Interview

Question for Professions

There are a few things one needs to consider whether appearing for a live interview or phone interview. Remember that it might be your first & last chance to make an impression on the interviewer.

Here are some Do’s and Don’ts, that can help you secure a good job offer:
  • Do be sure that you know exactly where you are having the interview and approximately how long it takes to get there.
  • Do get a good night’s sleep the day before your scheduled interview and look for means to relax yourself. You may carry some pocket snack and a mouth freshener along. It is even advisable to splash some water on your face in case of a day-long interview.
  • In case you are offered a job on the spot, you don’t need to say yes or no immediately. In fact it is advisable not to say yes unless you are absolutely sure that you want the job.
  • Don’t neglect to talk to other people besides those you are interviewing with, like the receptionist and prospective co-workers.
  • Do prepare for as many kinds of questions as possible. If possible, go in for mock interviews with some friend or family member.
  • Don’t be caught off guard if questioned about expected salary and benefits. Be prepared to negotiate.
